Datasets for Child Growth Standards from the World Health Organisation (WHO) provides the data for Z-Score & Percentile calculations in Somnus for:

• BMI-for-age

• Height- or Length-for-age

• Weight-for-age

Body Surface Area (BSA) calculated using the Du Bois formula

Estimated Lean Body Mass (eLMB) calculated using the Peters or De Boer formulae depending on patient age. For children under 14 years, the Peters Formula is used.

Calculations in Somnus take into account patient gender, except when calculating eLBM using the Peters Formula, which is sex-independent.
